Join Rabbi Ben Spratt and Cantor Shayna De Lowe for a unique tour of one of the most famous landmarks in American Jewish history: Ellis Island. This is a private tour of places not open to the public, so even if you have been to Ellis Island before, you will want to go now!
This day trip is limited to congregants 13 and older. Please note the following:
The buildings are not ADA compliant, so good mobility is essential. Walkers, scooters, wheel chairs or other assistive devices are never allowed on the tour. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions.
The tour lasts 90 minutes and the route covers approximately 1.25 miles of walking. There are also several small sets of stairs to climb and maneuver. Please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
The buildings are not climate controlled. They can be quite chilly in the winter and very warm in the summer, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
We will meet at the Ellis Island Ferry terminal in Manhattan at 8:00 AM. When you register you will be sent specific instructions.
