The Israeli Hug Center at Rodeph Sholom was founded after October 7th as a way to offer support in Hebrew to all Israelis living in NYC temporarily or permanently. The community opened its doors to displaced Israelis who came to NY and needed a safe place for psychological support and connections to other services in the community.
Today, The Hug Center continues to be a home for all Israelis in NYC, including those who are not Rodeph Sholom members. The Center provides social service in Hebrew to Israeli families, parents and individuals who live in NYC. We are more than ever committed to support every Israeli who is in need. We know that the current situation in Israel continues to impact Israelis in NYC directly and we thrive to meet every emotional need.
