Women of CRS had a great time on April 26 at the Sisterhood Evening Torah Study! The topic of conversation was “To Wear or Not To Wear: Jewish Women and Ritual Garments”, and they talked about the role that ritual garments (such as tallitot, kippot, tefillin, etc.) play in our Jewish lives as women, and their history in our tradition. Led by Rabbinical Intern Juli Karol, as well as congregants Rachel Zweighaft and Marilyn Mauler, an enriching and invigorating discussion and a lovely evening was had by all!
