Welcome to Congregation Rodeph Sholom in New York City
As we approach the High Holy Days, we reflect on the past year, prepare for the year ahead, and remember those no longer with us. At Congregation Rodeph Sholom, we honor their memory through our annual Roll of Remembrance, a sacred tradition of naming and celebrating departed loved ones.
The deadline to submit names for this year has passed. A link to view the Roll online will be shared before Yom Kippur.
If you have any questions, please email remembrance@crsnyc.org.

As we approach Yom Kippur, we remember the family and friends who are no longer with us, reflecting on the meaning they brought to our lives and honoring their enduring legacies.
Each year, Congregation Rodeph Sholom gathers the names of departed loved ones in our Roll of Remembrance. This sacred tradition offers our community a space to honor their memories with gratitude and love.
Our 2026 Roll of Remembrance is now available to view online below. We invite you to spend time with these names and memories as we prepare to observe Yom Kippur together.
We begin the introspective work of assessing the year that was and with hope, we begin to prepare for the year that will be. We remember those family and friends who are no longer with us; we think of the meaning they have brought to our lives and with profound gratitude we acknowledge their role in enabling us to reach this moment. In our community, we annually gather the names of departed loved ones and honor their legacies in our Roll of Remembrance.
