Join CRS partner West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) for a conversation on how emergency feeding systems are evolving, what remains unchanged, and the future landscape of food security through local, national, and international perspectives.

Featured Panelists:
Martin Caraher, Emeritus Professor of Food and Health Policy at the Centre for Food Policy at City University of London, who co-edited the Handbook of Food Security and Society. Martin will shed light on global trends and challenges in emergency feeding.

Amy Lazarus Yaroch, PhD, Executive Director of the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition, will focus on the current state of emergency feeding systems in the United States and potential avenues for improvement.

Gregory Silverman, WSCAH CEO & Executive Director, to share insights from his chapter in the Handbook of Food Insecurity and Society entitled “Emergency Feeding in America: Making Words and Deeds Actually Matter”, and discuss the specific challenges and opportunities facing emergency feeding efforts here in New York City.
