Matthew Levitt is the Fromer-Wexler Fellow and director of the Reinhard Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence at The Washington Institute. He wrote well-received books on Hamas and Hezbollah, along with subsequent books addressing state sponsors of terrorism and negotiating in the face of terror attacks. Additionally, Mr. Levitt spent decades in senior roles across several government agencies and served as a key witness in notable trials regarding terrorism financing.
