Let’s Join 5,000 Reform Leaders at the URJ Biennial 2019 in Chicago!
Leadership Development, Networking, Jewish Learning, and How-To to Strengthen Our Congregation Will Be Center Stage
CRS will join with hundreds of others from across North America at the URJ Biennial 2019 from December 11-15 in Chicago, IL. And you need to be a part of it!
What is the Biennial?
The URJ Biennial is the largest Jewish gathering in North America. The Biennial will bring together 5,000 Reform Jews of all ages, including lay leaders, professionals, clergy, and youth leaders representing 1.5 million North American Reform Jews. Together, we’ll learn, pray, share ideas, network, celebrate, and make decisions about the future of Reform Jewish life. We’ll return to Congregation Rodeph Sholom armed with new resources and ideas, as well as with the enthusiasm and know-how to put them to use to strengthen and enrich our spiritual home.
Why attend the Biennial?
Immerse yourself in new ideas and hear about initiatives on the cutting edge of what’s happening in Reform Judaism. A powerful line-up of speakers will include Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times columnist Jodi Kantor and Best-Selling New York Times Author (and CRS congregant) A.J. Jacobs.
Worship together with 6,000 Reform Jews—an extraordinarily powerful spiritual experience,
and an opportunity to “recharge your Jewish batteries.”
Enjoy the best Jewish music line-up anywhere, including four dozen leading musicians and groups, and the Biennial choir, featuring conference participants from across North America.
Visit one hundred and fifty exhibitors, including emerging Jewish artists, organizations, and vendors from all over the world.
Vote! Resolutions approved at Biennial determine Reform Movement positions on social, economic, and humanitarian issues.
