Erev Shabbat Service

Fri, May 17 • 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

IN PERSON & ONLINE

During our May 17 Erev Shabbat Service we will recognize Yvette Perry who retired from CRS in December 2023.

For the past 30 years, Yvette has been a cherished member of the CRS family, both as a congregant and as a staff member. She was always an active volunteer at CRS, including serving as a founding member of our Communications Committee and chair of our Website Committee. She designed the first website for our synagogue and cemetery. In September 2000, Yvette joined our staff as editor of The Chronicle, Rodeph Sholom’s newsletter and in 2020, she became Writer/Editor for our MarCom Team. When Rabbi Levine retired in 2021, Yvette served as editor for his book that included writings from his current and former assistant/associate rabbis. Her attention to detail, deep institutional knowledge, and relationship skills made her an invaluable resource for our MarCom team and the entire congregation.

Share Shabbat with family, friends—old ones and new—and community. Join us for meaningful Shabbat worship, study and hospitality.

Each Friday evening the Rodeph Sholom community joins together to welcome Shabbat in a joyful service of prayer, music, and moments of quiet contemplation. Our Erev Shabbat service is a perfect way to end the week and begin recharging for the week ahead.

Everyone is welcome—no membership is necessary.
