Orit Sulitzeanu acts as the Executive Director of The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel since 2013. The ARCCI is the leading advocacy organization in Israel that deals with combating sexual violence. Sulitzeanu has an M.A. degree in Non Profit Management (Cum Laude) and an M.A. in Communications (Cum Laude) both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Before joining the ARCCI, she served as Head of the Dept. of Communications at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she also chaired the Gender Equality Committee. Prior to this, she was the Spokesperson for the Israel Women’s` Network (IWN), Israel’s leading women advocacy group, for seven years.

Under her leadership the ARCCI has received the Emil Grunzweig award for Human Rights in 2015 and the Minister’s Award for Social Equality in 2017. In February 2018, Sulitzeanu was awarded the Jerusalem Wizzo Award for Groundbreaking Woman. In April 2018 she was invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to present the ARCCI cutting edge programs on eliminating sexual harassment in the workplace in a conference about sexual harassment in the UN. In 2019 she was nominated as a representative of all women NGOs to serve on a governmental committee to establish a national program against sexual harassment in Israel.
In 2023 she was accepted to the elluminate collective of 1 of 10 of women leaders initiated by the Jewish Women’s Foundation of New York.

Orit Sulitzeanu appears extensively at the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, she is a sought-after media interviewee and commentator and has published many op-eds and public statements on sexual harassment related issues. She is married to Amnon Beeri-Sulitzeanu (The executive director of the Abraha Initiatives) mother of three and lives in Tel-Aviv.
