CRS Outings: A Day of Fashion and History in Brooklyn

Join Rabbi Karol and Cantor Iacono to spend the day in Brooklyn beginning with a tour of the Thierry Mugler retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum, exploring the fascinating and edgy universe of the unparalleled French designer. We’ll have some time to wander the museum and grab lunch before heading to National Historic Landmark, Green-Wood Cemetery for a 2-hour trolley tour of one of America’s first rural cemeteries. A magnet for history buffs and bird watchers, Green-Wood is a Revolutionary War historic site (the Battle of Long Island was fought in 1776 across what is now its grounds), a designated site on the Civil War Discovery Trail, and a registered member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System. A private bus takes us to the Brooklyn Museum, from the Museum to Green-Wood, and home to CRS.

This outing is made possible by a generous gift from Marcia and David Lavipour

You may request a refund up to 5 days before a class/event. All requests must be in writing to events@crsnyc.org.
