Caring Community Meeting

Wed, Feb 25, 2015 • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

President’s Office (Congregation Rodeph Sholom)

Emphasizes the importance of the individual within the larger community. Activities like bereavement and support groups, Shabbat greeters, visits with homebound congregants, and reaching out to mourners at the end of shiva seek to make Rodeph Sholom a place where every congregant can feel included and supported.

This year, we are participating in the UJA Federation’s Shabbat of Wholeness, Holiness, and Wellness, to raise awareness and support for mental health. Click here for a list of resources.

Click here for information on UJA’s new initiative, Mental Health GPS, which helps parents navigate the system when they have concerns about their child’s mental or emotional well-being. Mental Health GPS offers free resources and consultations to parents of children through college-age.

Our new Caring Community brochure describes our activities in detail.
