Programs for Well-Being: Strengthen Body, Mind, and Spirit
At Rodeph Sholom, we believe that nurturing our bodies is an essential part of nurturing our souls. Rooted in Jewish tradition and values, our well-being programs offer opportunities to cultivate physical health, emotional resilience, and spiritual connection.
Sholom Yoga
In both Jewish tradition and yoga, the body is seen as a sacred vessel—holding our spirit and enabling us to engage meaningfully with the world. Our yoga classes are designed to nourish the body, calm the mind, and uplift the soul through a uniquely Jewish lens.
Led by Sharon Epstein, co-founder of Lev Shalem Yoga, these small group sessions (limited to 12 participants) offer individualized attention and a welcoming atmosphere for all levels of experience.
Discover the transformative energy of Krav Maga, a practical martial art developed by the Israel Defense Forces and deeply connected to Israel’s history and culture.
Led by experienced instructors, our Krav Maga classes build practical self-defense skills in a safe, ego-free, and inclusive environment. Each session is rooted in mutual respect and personal growth—enhancing confidence, resilience, and mental clarity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to expand your practice, Krav Maga at Rodeph Sholom is a powerful way to feel stronger in body and spirit.

Fast internet connections are ideal for viewing, such as cable, fiber, and FiOS. Live streaming will not work with dial-up, and if you have a slow internet speed, you may experience stuttering or screen freezing.
If your screen freezes during viewing, please try reloading your browser. Also try clearing your history and shutting down other programs and web pages.
Google Chrome and Firefox work well with our Live Stream, while Safari can be less dependable. If you are unable to view Live Stream at all, please try a different browser.
If you cannot hear the Live Stream, make sure you click “Tap to Unmute” at the top of the player.
