Welcome to Congregation Rodeph Sholom in New York City
Sholom 20s & 30s is an inclusive, vibrant community where young adults can connect, celebrate, and explore Jewish life together. Whether it’s a lively Shabbat at a bar or a musical service followed by dinner, holiday celebrations, or social outings, we create meaningful ways to build friendships and engage with Jewish traditions. As part of The NYC Shabbat Collective, we also offer access to citywide Reform Jewish gatherings. No matter if you’re Jewish, Jew-ish, Jewishly-adjacent, or Jewishly curious, you’re welcome here!
CRS deeply values its younger members and is pleased to offer a special Junior Membership for those who are under the age of 30. Sholom 20s&30s is a space just for those aged 21-39; CRS offers many opportunities to connect with friends old and new, regardless of age! Learn More ›
Shabbat is a chance for our community to celebrate and connect with one another! We celebrate Shabbat several times together throughout the year. Shabbat on Tap takes place at bars around the city and TGIS (Thank God It’s Shabbat) is a 40-minute service followed by dinner at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. All of our services are musical and participatory and feature a mix of English and Hebrew.
We love celebrating holidays together! Whether it’s gathering in the Sukkah or doing yoga for Tu B’Shevat, we’re excited to celebrate holidays together with food and fun!
From happy hours to seeing shows together to exploring NYC’s amazing food, there are lots of ways to connect to Sholom 20s & 30s!
Congregation Rodeph Sholom is proud to be part of the NYC Shabbat Collective, a Shabbat experience for those in their 20s & 30s put on by a group of Reform Manhattan synagogues and HUC. Members of Congregation Rodeph Sholom have access to special ticket prices.
Rabbi Goldberg is always available to the Sholom 20s & 30s community and would love to meet you for coffee.
