As Reform Jews, daily worship with a minyan (a quorum) is less common than attending Shabbat and holy day services. Yet, in today’s fast-moving world, this ancient practice offers a powerful opportunity for connection, reflection, and spiritual grounding.
At Congregation Rodeph Sholom, we are proud to offer our Midday Minyan, a 15-minute virtual, lay-led gathering for healing, mourning, comfort, and community. We now join Central Synagogue and Temple Emanu-El, both of which also offer daily prayer, to provide the larger community with three daily services aligning with the traditional times of morning (Shacharit), afternoon (Minchah), and night (Ma’ariv).
Wherever you are, whenever you can, we welcome you to join us for these virtual weekday, lay-led services:
8:00 – 8:15 AM | Central Synagogue’s Morning Prayer Service (Online, Hybrid on select days)
Held on Zoom daily, with an in-person option on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Community House (123 E. 55th Street).
12:00 – 12:15 PM | Congregation Rodeph Sholom’s Midday Minyan (Online)
A 15-minute prayer gathering available on Zoom Sunday through Friday.
5:30 – 6:00 PM | Temple Emanu-El’s Daily Sunset Service (Online)
A classical Reform service using the Union Prayer Book, livestreamed on Facebook, YouTube, and Experience Emanu-El.
Whether you are saying Kaddish for a loved one, seeking a moment of peace in your day, or longing for Jewish community, these services are open to all—no matter where you live. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing in these sacred moments, whenever and wherever you are.
