Caring Council
The Caring Council exists to ensure that every person at CRS, if they so choose, is cared for in mind, body, and soul across all stages and cycles of life.
The Council, comprised of CRS lay-leaders and our clergy team, aims to identify care needs and develop strategies to address those needs. This includes, but is not limited to, providing emotional support and coordinating volunteer opportunities to assist congregants in need.

Caring Connections
(Formerly Bikkur Cholim)
A group of volunteers who provide support to those who are ill, recovering, or wanting a compassionate ear. Through phone calls, visits, and other acts of care, Caring Connections aims to bring comfort and connection to congregants.
What Matters
A program that encourages thoughtful conversations and planning around end-of-life choices, helping individuals clarify their values and communicate their healthcare wishes to loved ones and medical professionals.
Shabbat Greeters
A group of volunteers who help create a warm, inclusive environment at CRS during Shabbat services. They greet congregants and visitors with a smile, offer guidance to those who may be new or need assistance, and help set the tone for a meaningful and peaceful Shabbat experience.
