Your 3 -4-year-old (must be 3 by September 1st) is growing up and ready to explore new adventures!
Parachute, cooking, stories, songs, art, and games will engage your child for an active and fun hour on Tuesday afternoons! Jewish holidays and values form the foundation of our meaningful age–appropriate curriculum supporting your child’s growth as a confident and curious learner.
This is a gentle separation offering leading to drop off.

Pre-K to 2nd Grade
For children in Pre-K* – 2nd grade, Sholom Adventures is the next step in empowering young learners to explore what being Jewish means to them.
Through song, stories, movement, art, and conversation, Sholom Adventures introduces age-appropriate language and skills for engaging in Jewish learning and living, all in a supportive environment that embraces the whole child, and the whole family. This action-packed hour is a purely joyful addition to their day!
*Entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2025. If your child is 4 years old but not entering Kindergarten in 2025, My Sprouts Adventure is for you!
TUESDAY or WEDNESDAY
Weekly: 4:00-5:00 PM
Extra Adventures: Hebrew and/or Story & Play for 30 minutes OR 60 minutes (5:00-5:30 PM or 5:00-6:00 PM)
WHAT MAKES ADVENTURES UNIQUE
- Schedules available to fit your needs and your child’s growth. Each class is a rotation of Active Games, STEM, Creative & Performing Arts with Jewish values, history, and culture woven in.
- Expand your adventure by adding Story & Play or Hebrew to round out your afternoon with an extra 30 or 60 minutes of enrichment.
- Hebrew is taught in small clusters, beginning with letter recognition and building toward reading fluency.
- The Adventures take place when we are together as a community, with family follow-up each week to expand on the conversation at home.
- Being a community of adventurers and learners extends to our families as well, everyone (members and non-members) are invited to celebrate Shabbat and holidays with Rodeph Sholom and experience the warmth of our larger community.
Sholom Adventures is open to all families seeking informal, engaging and meaningful Jewish experiences. No synagogue membership required. Learn more about membership at Rodeph Sholom to have access to all that our community offers.
