From November 17 to December 12, the street elevator on West 83rd Street will be closed for modernization and refurbishment. When complete, the upgraded elevator will offer a smoother, more accessible experience for all who use it to enter the building.
During this period, visitors who typically use the 83rd Street elevator should enter on West 84th Street, where a temporary ramp accessible for wheelchairs and walkers will be available in the courtyard.
