One Sunday a month during the school year, CRS sends a delegation of volunteers to St. Xavier’s Soup Kitchen to prepare meals for our homeless and hungry neighbors. We received a couple of snaps from Hilary Klotz Steinman, who sent this report back to those who showed up:
Hi volunteers,
Thank you so much for setting aside so much of your Sunday to volunteer at the St. Francis Xavier Soup Kitchen this past week. The volunteer chief said the soup kitchen served a record breaking number of meals, around 1600.
You were a fantastic crew and all your hard work helped make those 1600 meals possible. Both the CRS sisterhood and the team at the Soup kitchen greatly appreciate your time, energy and great volunteer spirit.
You can visit volunteer hub to learn about dates and sign up.
