The clergy team has chosen six important partner organizations to receive tzedakah in honor of Mitzvah Day 2021. For every photo you share doing a mitzvah (on the computer, at home, outside, with loved ones) you can vote on an organization to receive $5 from CRS.

CRS Food Drive For decades, Congregation Rodeph Sholom has supported local organizations addressing food insecurity on behalf of our entire community. This year, our Food Drive is more important than ever, helping New Yorkers navigate the pandemic.

Rodeph Sholom Tuition Assistance Rodeph Sholom School is committed to helping families afford a Reform Jewish Day School education for their children and is committed to building a diverse geographic and socioeconomic student body. Their strong Tuition Assistance program awards support based upon the level of need and availability of funds.

West Side Campaign Against Hunger  West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) changes our perception of hungry people by working in partnership with them, providing food with dignity, and empowering customers to find solutions. WSCAH alleviates hunger by ensuring that all New Yorkers have access with dignity to a choice of healthy food and supportive services.

Pink Fund The Pink Fund provides 90-day non-medical cost-of-living expenses on behalf of breast cancer patients in active treatment for breast cancer, so they can focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace.

Magen David Adom Magen David Adom is Israel’s national ambulance, blood-services, and disaster-relief organization, as well as Israel’s representative to the International Red Cross. Like most Red Cross societies, it is not a government agency and relies on contributions for funding.
