We are proud and pleased to announce that Rabbi Robert N. Levine’s portrait now joins those of Rabbi Louis I. Newman and Rabbi Gunter Hirschberg, as well as Cantor Ephriam Biran and Cantor Nathan G. Meltzoff in the Leader Board Room. The portrait is by world renowned portrait artist Everett Raymond Kinstler, who has painted numerous celebrities as well as seven Presidents, and is the recipient of the Copley Medal from the Smithsonian, National Portrait Gallery, its highest honor. Commissioned by the Board of Trustees in honor of his 25th anniversary, the portrait evokes Rabbi Levine’s strength of faith and compassion, and captures the essence of his personality. This photograph showcases Honorary Trustee Barbara Lustig and President for Life Janet Neuberger, both of whom facilitated the project, President Martin Flumenbaum, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and Rabbi Robert N. Levine.
