We are proud to share that Rabbi Stein has been featured in a recent article by Unpacked highlighting women rabbis who are shaping Jewish life today.
The piece, “From the bimah to Instagram: 14 women rabbis shaping Jewish life right now,” celebrates leaders who are expanding how Jewish tradition is taught, experienced, and shared—both within congregations and far beyond them.
Rabbi Stein is recognized as part of a new generation of rabbis bringing creativity, depth, and a strong personal voice to Jewish leadership. At Congregation Rodeph Sholom, she combines serious text learning with a background in studio art, offering a perspective that is both thoughtful and visually expressive.
That same creativity extends beyond the bimah. Rabbi Stein has built a dynamic online presence that explores the intersection of Judaism, identity, and style. She co-created “Rabbinic Fit Check,” a playful and insightful look at what clergy wear across the many moments of rabbinic life, and has even been recognized for how she uses fashion as a form of hiddur mitzvah—the beautification of Jewish ritual.
Her inclusion in this national spotlight reflects a broader shift in Jewish leadership—one that embraces new forms of storytelling, new platforms for connection, and new ways of bringing tradition to life.
We are honored to have Rabbi Stein as part of our community and excited to see her voice continue to shape the future of Jewish life.
