As you visit the building, you can see that we are now in the thick of the lobby remodel. The stairway pillar is being dismantled and out of all the things we are doing the removal of that massive column might be the biggest structural change.
While this is a noisy time, it is also a time of wonder as we all get a once-in-a-lifetime glance at the shul behind the walls, built by workers who have long ago passed into memory.
