This High Holy Day season, live your values and participate in Rodeph Sholom’s annual Yom Kippur Food Drive.
On Yom Kippur, we will read from the prophet Isaiah, who tells us that the true meaning of the fast day is to feed the hungry and fight oppression. Your support is vital and will make a meaningful impact during these challenging times for our city and community.
There are three ways you can participate:
Donate on Yom Kippur
Bring non-perishable foods to the City Harvest truck in front of CRS, 7 West 83rd Street, on Monday, September 25 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Virtually donate healthy fresh produce and other foods to City Harvest using the #GiveHealthy platform.
Donate to the CRS Food Drive Fund and we will quickly pass along the funds to the organizations we support: Westside Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH), the HUC Soup Kitchen, and the St. Matthew and St. Timothy’s Sunday Meals Program. Join us to demonstrate Rodeph Sholom’s commitment to feeding the hungry.
