Fun! New! Classes for Kiddos

Posted on

Rodeph Sholom is excited to offer two new classes geared towards families with infants and young children.  We are partnering with well-loved Lil’ Yogis to offer Jewish Adventure Yoga, a dynamic drop-off class for 3 and 4 year olds to move their bodies, stretch their spirits, and nurture their souls, all with a Jewish twist. We’ll take your preschooler from asana to ahavah (love), cat-cow to challah, tree pose to Torah, and more. Have fun with us as we combine movement and stories for an exploration of Jewish ideas. This new drop off mini-course runs for 6 weeks, beginning April 20th, and is scheduled for Thursdays between 3:15 and 4pm. Cost is $150 for members / $200 for non-members. Price include all six classes.

And, for the littlest ones in your life—a new Friday morning Shabbat class is being offered for infants 6-12 months and their grownups. Shabbat and Play at Congregation Rodeph Sholom is a chance to sing, dance, and play your way into Shabbat. Using music, stories, and sensory play in our mini-gym, you and your baby will experience the joy and spirit of this special time of the week. This course will run for 6 weeks, beginning April 21st, and is scheduled for Fridays between 11:15 and 12pm. Cost for the six class series is $100 for members/ $150 for non- members and is also available each week as a drop in opportunity for $20 for members/ $30 for non-members.
