Tales of Three Rabbis

Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, happening 3 times

In this three-session course, we will explore the lives of three 19th century rabbis—Rabbi Aaron Wise of our own Rodeph Sholom, Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise of Cincinnati, and Rabbi Benjamin Szold of Baltimore, as well as the prayer books each wrote. Each was responsible in significant ways for shaping the contours of what would follow in American Jewish History. We will consider these contributions and explore what their legacy has been to Reform Judaism.
