Repro Shabbat: Resoul Morning Service

Sat, Feb 22 • 9:30 AM10:30 AM

IN PERSON & ONLINE

Repro Shabbat takes place annually on the Shabbat when we read Parshat Mishpatim in the Book of Exodus because it contains the verses commonly used as the foundation of Judaism’s approach to reproductive health, rights, and justice. It is a nonpartisan effort designed to educate our community about reproductive health issues (including dignity and access to menstrual care, birth control, and fertility treatments), destigmatize abortion as an aspect of necessary healthcare, and support bodily autonomy and religious freedom.

Join our clergy team for ReSoul—a weekly Shabbat morning gathering designed to rejuvenate and reconnect. Building on three decades of the Congregation Rodeph Sholom Chapel Service experience, ReSoul combines music, contemplation, and Jewish wisdom to inspire reflection and create community.

Our tradition teaches vayinafash—to “re-soul” on this sacred day of rest. Through ReSoul, Shabbat serves as a pathway to renewal. Blending ancient liturgy with modern melodies, this unique experience welcomes all and highlights the leadership of both clergy and congregants, showcasing how sacred moments are created as a community.
