Rabbi Jacqueline K. Ellenson has been leading an insightful and contemplative journey through the Book of Psalms for over seven years. This treasure of biblical literature contains expressions of all human experience, searching for God’s presence, struggling with God’s absence, and reckoning with good and evil in the world; these issues remain relevant today.

Through our continued study of Psalms, we will explore the depth and breadth of this literature and discover resources for our life and for our journey. This Friday lunchtime class is the perfect preparation for Shabbat as we gather for learning, poetry, and song. Seekers and learners of all levels are welcome, new and returning students alike. Each session stands alone.

Rabbi Jacqueline Koch Ellenson is a longtime congregant of Rodeph Sholom and Director Emerita of the Women’s Rabbinic Network.
