with an introduction by Cantor Rebecca Garfein
Modern Loss is a place to share the unspeakably taboo, unbelievably hilarious, and unexpectedly beautiful terrain of navigating your life after a death. Beginners welcome. This project grew out of two friends’ separate experiences with sudden loss, and their struggle to find resources that weren’t too clinical, patronizing or, frankly, cheesy. Join us as Modern Loss coauthor and cofounder, Rebecca Soffer, sits in conversation with New York Times features reporter and CRS congregant Katherine Rosman. This program is offered under the auspices of CRS What Matters: Caring Conversations About End of Life.
