What Matters Now in New York City: A Conversation with City Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal

Our guest this month, District 6 Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal, will talk about protecting and encouraging small businesses, one of her main areas of interest, and will allow lots of time for Q&A on any subject.  This is a great opportunity to observe NYC governance up close and personal.

Councilwoman Rosenthal represents the Upper West Side in the New York City Council. She is a leading voice on issues of accessibility, civic engagement, affordable housing, pedestrian safety, the environment, and adequate funding for social service providers.  For the 2018-2021 session, Councilwoman Rosenthal is Chair of the Committee on Women, and serves on the following Committees: Civil and Human Rights; Contracts; Economic Development; Finance; Housing and Buildings; and the Capital Budget Sub Committee.

This program is open to anyone who is free to come to lunch! A dairy lunch will be served, and there is a suggested donation of $10.
Please RSVP to lunchtogether@crsnyc.org or call 646-454-3067.
