Event Navigation

Do you have a young Hebrew learner in your home? Are you interested in mastering the Hebrew alphabet? Join us this winter for a two-month course that will equip you with skills to help you and/or your young learner(s) with Hebrew reading and pronunciation. Both morning and evening classes are offered to accommodate RSS parents’ schedules. We are launching this new program at a discounted rate of $72 for all 8 sessions.

The morning classes are timed to coordinate with RSS parent drop off, and take place eight Thursday mornings, 8:45-9:45 AM, beginning January 17 (no class on February 21). The morning course will be taught by Melissa De Lowe, founder of Urban Lion Jewish Learning, who teaches privately in modern Hebrew, Jewish Studies, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation.

Evening classes are open to all, including RSS parents who need an evening class.  These sessions will take place on eight Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:30 PM, beginning January 9 (no class on January 23 or February 20).   The evening course will be taught by Rabbi Juliana S. Karol.

Cost: $72
