Grand Boat Tour of Jewish New York Harbor

Sun, Apr 26, 2020 • 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Congregation Rodeph Sholom

Celebrate Israeli Independence Day aboard a New York Water Taxi! Did you know that the Empire State Building has a connection to Jerusalem? And what architect Louis Kahn planned for the Four Freedoms Park? And where was the first synagogue in North America? Answer these questions and more on this two-hour tour of New York Harbor led by author and NYC tour guide Oscar Israelowitz. From classics like the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island, to less trafficked—but unmistakably Jewish—sites like the Jewish Heritage Museum, we’ll explore and connect with our fascinating past—and present—as Jews in New York.

There are only 18 spaces open at $56/person – book yours today! Please note this is not a private tour. Our CRS group will participate with others from around the New York community.

At this time, all spaces are filled. To be added to our wait list, please email Scott Hertz, shertz@crsnyc.org.
