Featuring voices and stories from our community, this service celebrates our LGBTQIA+ pride. Held annually during Pride Month, it is a time to join together and celebrate our connection to each other and our values of acceptance and inclusion. Each Friday evening the Rodeph Sholom community joins together to welcome Shabbat in a joyful service of prayer, music, song and moments of quiet contemplation. Our Erev Shabbat service is a perfect way to end the week and begin recharging for the week ahead.
The second Friday of the month at Rodeph Sholom is Shir Chadash, a service comprised largely of song and features our instrumentalists, our adult and children’s choirs and the lively participation of the entire congregation. The Shir Chadash service provides a meaningful worship opportunity for congregants and visitors of all ages — from seniors, to children and everyone in between!
