Chamber Music at Rodeph Sholom: ChamberJazz!

Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:30 PM

ChamberJazz is here! We have a sizzling mix of classics and contemporary music including works by Duke Ellington and Roy Orbison and performer/composers Chris Parker, Eddie Barbash, and Ted Rosenthal.

Come hear new critically-acclaimed pieces from Rosenthal’s new opera, Dear Erich, described as a “true, wrenching” story, which has just finished a sold-out run with the New York City Opera.

ChamberJazz stars our own Cantor Rebecca Garfein. Cantor Garfein has recently played a leading role as Fran Drescher in the musical Stars of David at various venues across the country, and also recently performed in Don’t Tell Mama at the Triad theater.

If you like Chamber Music, you will also love Coffeehouse on Feb 7th hosted by the Bailen Family! It stars Chamber Music’s Artistic Director Eliot Bailen, flutist Susan Rotholz and their folk trio childen, Julia, Daniel and David Bailen, plus others. Click here to learn more and get a ticket.
