The Art of Chanting Torah

In this class, we will learn to chant the ta’amei mikrah, the ancient trope symbols used in the chanting of our sacred texts, with a focus on Torah chanting. A basic reading knowledge of Hebrew is required, but students do not need prior experience in chanting Torah or reading music. This class is a wonderful way to become comfortable with chanting Torah, whether you’re new to it or have chanted many times before!
