In both Jewish tradition and the practice of yoga, there’s a shared emphasis on regarding the body as a sacred vessel that holds the essence of our spirituality. Yoga balances and enhances our flexibility and strength and also facilitates introspection and spiritual development. Experience a yoga class that accentuates the nurturing of the body, mind and soul from a Jewish perspective with Sharon Epstein, co-founder of Lev Shalem Yoga. Capacity is limited to 12 participants.
Sholom Yoga: Gentle Class
The gentle class is suitable for all who might be interested in a slower pace. The focus is on seated and reclining floor stretches and some standing poses. This class includes longer meditation and breathing practices. It is ideal for stress relief and relaxation.
Sholom Yoga: All Levels
The all levels class emphasizes strength, alignment and flexibility with more variations and transitions between poses. The pace and intensity are more challenging, including flowing vinyasa-flow Sun Salutation sequences.
