Join the Religious Action Center – New York and Women for Reform Judaism as they launch their campaign to enshrine an Equal Rights Amendment in the New York state constitution!
The New York Equal Rights Amendment will enshrine a wide array of rights into the NY constitution — including the right to an abortion.
Opponents are actively fighting against it by launching an eleventh-hour attempt to remove the ERA from November’s ballot.
RAC-NY is confident that the ERA will ultimately be restored to November’s ballot by New York courts. But these efforts demonstrate that there will be concerted opposition to the ERA — and that those who support it must organize to ensure its passage.
