Join Rabbi Spratt and Cantor De Lowe for Mitzvah Morning at West Side Campaign Against Hunger’s new distribution center in Washington Heights. WSCAH invites you and your family for a meaningful morning of packing healthy food and writing heartfelt cards for distribution to their customers, the individuals and families seeking support. Children ages 6 and older are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. Spaces are limited.
WSCAH is experiencing an unprecedented surge in customers seeking food assistance. This October, they assisted over 7,200 households, a 50% increase compared to October 2022. This milestone represents the highest number of household visits served by their 86th Street distribution center (one of 30 distribution sites across the city) in WSCAH’s 44-year history. And the need continues to grow by the day, so your help is essential.
