DESCRIPTION:REGISTER \nJoin Congregation Rodeph Sholom families and friends on Saturday\, March 2\, for a family-friendly morning of impact at Grassroots Grocery in the Bronx! \nHere’s what you can expect: \nMeet in the Bronx at 9am!\nWe’ll meet at 1750 E Gun Hill Road – just a 25 minute drive from Southern Westchester – at 9am. Dan Zauderer\, Grassroots Grocery founder\, will tell his story. And we’ll get excited for our day of impact. \nSort and pack over 12\,000 pounds of fresh produce!\nWe’ll work together to unload a truck filled with over 12\,000 lbs of unsold produce rescued from the biggest produce market in the US. Fun for folks of all ages. \nMake a delivery to a community in need!\nAt 10:30am (ish!)\, we’ll part ways and #driveouthunger. You’ll stop at one of 30+ pre-assigned community sites – where you’ll be greeted by a community leader who will distribute your harvest directly to neighbors in need.
