The Jewish Braille Institute is hosting a free, accessible, and virtual gathering of professionals to explore how we can collaborate, support, and inspire each other as we advance our goal of making Jewish life more accessible to those with disabilities. The event will include a panel discussion of disability experts and Jewish professionals, in addition to open mingles to network with attendees from other organizations that are working in this space. The featured panelists are accessibility advocate and leader Rabbi Lauren Tuchman, Congregation Kerem Shalom’s Rabbi Darby Leigh, Matan’s Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships Meredith Polsky, and congregant Jessi Elana Aaron. The panel will be facilitated by Debbie Joseph.
