DESCRIPTION:REGISTER \n\nThe program showcases music “Lost & Found”—songs by Yiddish troubadours Nachum Sternheim and Mordecai Gebirtig\, works by resistance fighter- poet Hannah Senesh and Hirsh Glik\, and musical discoveries by Polish survivor Pawel Gruenspan and Czech exile-to-India Walter Kaufmann. \nA set of variations on a Hebrew folk song\, the last work composed in the Theresienstadt camp by the exceptionally gifted Viktor Ullmann\, will round out the program. \nReception to follow. \nThis program is generously supported by New York City Council Member\, Gale A.
