Tradition: A History of Jewish Influence on Broadway
May 11 , 2021/Category

A beloved American art form, the Broadway Musical has its foundation almost entirely comprised of Jewish composers, lyricists, theater owners, restauranteurs, and producers. Along with Broadway historian and founder of Broadway Up Close Walking Tours Tim Dolan as our guide, we will explore the iconic Jewish figures who helped shape this billion-dollar Broadway industry that began with one bowl of life-changing matzoh ball soup! With rare historic photos, detailed stories, trivia questions, and a live chat, virtual tour-goers will see Broadway in a whole new light. This event will take place at 7:00 PM EST.
