6:00 PM | Antisemitism: What Everyone Needs to Know® with David Harris
Yom HaShoah (Holocaust) Commemoration Shabbat (Open to the public)
On this Shabbat as we observe Yom HaShoah, we welcome David Harris, one of the most respected voices in global Jewish advocacy, for a timely and essential conversation about antisemitism, its impact on Jewish life, and what it means for our broader society.
Antisemitism, David teaches, is never only a Jewish problem. History shows that it is a warning sign for the health of a society itself — a hatred that begins with Jews but ultimately threatens democratic values, human rights, and the safety of many communities. In an era of rising hate, declining Holocaust awareness, and widespread misunderstanding about antisemitism’s origins and consequences, this conversation could not be more urgent.
This Shabbat offers a chance to remember, to learn, and to reflect together — grounding our Yom HaShoah observance in both memory and responsibility, and in the enduring question of how we shape a more just and humane future.
Livestream available on our website and Facebook.
