CRS Outings: Syrian Jewish Culture and Food Walking Tour — SOLD OUT

Expand your palette and discover the vastness of Jewish diversity with Sylvia Fallas. A Brooklyn-based chef educator, Hebrew school teacher, and private chef, Sylvia teaches Jewish cultural cooking to students of all ages. Born and raised in Brooklyn’s Syrian community, she will lead a walking tour exploring local Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine (dairy only), as well as Jewish life and customs.
Schedule:
– The bus will depart from Rodeph Sholom at 1:00 PM and return at 5:00 PM.
– The walking tour will take place from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
