During Passover, we are reminded that the Exodus is not only a story of liberation, but a call to ensure no one is left behind.
In these difficult times, more and more people in our New York City community are being left behind. As food prices rise and affordable housing and healthcare become harder to access, the struggle to survive grows more urgent for those with the fewest resources.
When public support shrinks, the gap widens. We see it. We feel it. And our tradition asks: If those with resources do not answer the call, then who will?
As we recite “Let all who are hungry come and eat,” we invite you to turn those words into action.
