A native of Toronto and now a Chicago resident, Goodis has roots in the URJ camp movement and brings a unique blend of spiritual and musical creativity. Whether he’s leading a service, teaching students, or rocking a concert stage, Alan pushes the boundaries of Jewish prayer and song. Join us for a morning of connection, reflection, and uplifting music as we explore prayer through his powerful melodies.
Our Chapel Service is a highly participatory (in-person and online) and energetic service, offering Jewish prayer and study in a welcoming environment. Our rabbis lead a lively discussion of the weekly Torah portion, and members of the congregation often chant Torah and Haftarah portions.
Everyone is welcome—no membership is necessary.
