CRS Teens Return from an Unforgettable Give Kids the World Weekend
This past week, fifteen of CRS teens traveled to Orlando to volunteer at Give Kids the World, a non-profit providing cost-free vacations for children with critical illnesses. We are so proud of them!
Over the course of the weekend, our teens made a difference by volunteering at Give Kids the World Village, a nonprofit resort that gives critically ill kids and their families a dream vacation. They helped bring joy, laughter and smiles to families who need it most, embodying the values of compassion, service, and community that guide our youth programs.
Of course, the weekend also included some well-earned fun. The group spent an afternoon at Walt Disney World going on rides, enjoying snacks, and creating magical moments with friends. This trip blended heart and hype in the best possible way.
We are deeply grateful to our incredible Youth and Family team, whose hard work and dedication make transformative programs like this possible for our teens.
This experience was made possible through the generous support of The Lewis Weinberg Educational Enrichment Fund, established by Erika Weinberg and Matthew Nord honoring the legacy of Erika’s father Lewis, a gifted and dedicated educator.
