We are excited about the return of our Shabbat and Play for babies, new classes for 3- and 4-year-olds, and the world premiere of Music Together Sing Shalom—fun for the whole family! We are repeating our successful Shabbat and Play class and offering a new option for families looking to introduce babies to the fall Jewish holidays! Both classes include 30 minutes of singing and exploring followed by 15 minutes of sensory play in our mini gym.
Sing, dance, and play your way into Shabbat! Using music, stories, and hands-on playtime, your baby will experience candles, blessings, challah, and more—introducing the joy and spirit of this special time of the week!

Jr. Congregation (Ages 7-13 years)
1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, September 16th – June 2nd
Rock through a Shabbat morning service that’s fun (and meaningful) for the whole family. Kids lead prayers, chant Torah, and find their own voice in the CRS community; parents kvell, pray, chant, and sing.
These services alternate on Saturday mornings and occur only when school is in session. Please check the synagogue calendar for specific dates.
The Children’s Choir is for children in both the Religious School and Rodeph Sholom School from second through sixth grade. The Children’s Choir of Rodeph Sholom sings at High Holy Day and Shabbat services throughout the year and frequently performs at outside concert venues.
Jr. Jr. Choir
Junior Junior Choir is primarily for children in the Early Childhood Division of the Rodeph Sholom School and the Rodeph Sholom Religious School. This choir sings periodically at Shabbat services, performing songs they learn throughout the school year. For ages 3-6 yrs. The Junior Juniors sing at our Shir Chadash services periodically throughout the year. Meet at 5:40 PM in the President’s Office just before services begin. Havdalah for Littles
Beat the winter blues with food, folks, and fun. Celebrate the end of Shabbat with stories, songs, crafts, and the chance to shake those sillies out. PJs optional, but welcomed!

PJ Our Way is the next chapter of PJ Library, for kids ages 8½-11. With PJ Our Way, rather than receiving a specific book in the mail, kids can go to www.pjourway.org every month to choose the book they want to receive. This monthly series of challah baking experiences is designed to offer a unique social action opportunity for little hands. Come and help others who are hungry in our community while making new connections. Your family will braid two challahs–one for you to keep and one to give away to someone in need. Join us for storytelling, snacks, and some serious challah braiding!
