On March 3, 2018, Chamber Music at Rodeph Sholom helped celebrate Israel’s 70th year with a concert featuring Israeli composers. Attendees were wowed by the virtuoso performance of flutist Susan Rotholz on Shulamit Ram’s “East Wind for Solo Flute” and performers Eliot Bailen, Michael Roth, and Sarah Adams led the group on “Serenade for Flute and String Trio” by Paul Ben-Haim. Longtime CMRS pianist Margaret Kampmeier delivered “Piano Trio No. in D Minor, Op. 49” by Felix Mendelssohn. Many thanks to David Okada for sharing his wonderful pictures!
The final concert of the season, April 7 at 1:30 PM, brings a special treat: “Garfein Sings Bernstein” will lead the bill as Cantor Rebecca Garfein sings Leonard Bernstein in honor of his 100th birthday. Please click here to sign up and join us! Light refreshments served before the show.
