Breast cancer is no laughing matter- more than 40,000 American women die of this illness each year. Mammograms are just one of the critical services provided to women by Planned Parenthood, along with birth control, preventative care, and treatment.
However, 2017 has taught Americans a valuable lesson; engagement matters. Because we raised our voices, Congress failed in its attempt to leave 24 million Americans without health insurance.
