Support Migrants at Our Border

Hispanic and Latinx migrants at the US/Mexico border need your help!

The situation at the US/Mexico border grows more and more dire, as resources dwindle and families are separated—but we will not give up, nor will we abandon nor compromise on the values we hold sacred.

Congregation Rodeph Sholom is dedicated to tikkun olam—the divine imperative to repair our broken world. As Jews, we remember what it is like to flee terror and have nowhere to go, and so we must be the first to open our hands and our hearts to those who are seeking refuge just as we did not so long ago.

Thanks to the tireless work of congregants Janie Roher, Claudia Wagner, and the CRS Refugee Resettlement Committee, we have already helped welcome and support one family of refugees as they resettle in New York. Let’s continue this trend of welcoming the stranger by turning our resources to help those suffering at our border.
